Serious about Ethical Business
28th May 2012Posted by Sharon Robey
As a family business it is crucial to us that we treat our customers, staff and suppliers with respect and loyalty. We pride ourselves on carrying out our business in an ethical manner.
To this end we have joined SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data EXchange), a not for profit membership organisation, dedicated to driving improvements in ethical and responsible business practices in global supply chains.
Through Sedex we are able to share information about our labour standards, health and safety, the environment and business practices.
We understand that ethical procurement is becoming increasingly important to our customers and we are confident that we can fulfill these reuirements so it was very easy for us to decide to join Sedex.
Sedex is not a standard setting body, code of conduct or certfication, but joining it means that we are committed to continuous improvement in our business practices.
